^ Business Flyer Tier Hop Offer Terms and Conditions

Members of Qantas Business Rewards (who are not existing Virgin Australia Business Flyer members), that currently hold the equivalent of Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier 2 level and above, are eligible to apply for a Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier Hop. 

For your business to be eligible for the Tier Hop offer, your business must, during the Promotion Period:

1. Successfully sign the business up to Virgin Australia Business Flyer.

2. Email businessflyer@virginaustralia.com between 12.01am AEST 9 December 2022 and 11:59pm AEST 29 January 2023 inclusive from the key contact email address associated with the Virgin Australia Business Flyer account requesting a Tier Hop; this email must include the business name, ABN and proof of Qantas Business Rewards level in the applicant’s name, verifying that the business holds the equivalent of Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier 2 or above with Qantas. For clarity, the applicant must be an authorised representative of the business and their name must appear on the business proof of Qantas Business Rewards level.

A limited number of Business Flyer Tier Hop offers are available. Virgin Australia & Velocity reserve the right to extend or remove this promotion at their discretion, based on the number of Tier Hop applications received. It may take up to 4 weeks to receive the Business Flyer Tier Hop. 

At the conclusion of 12 months, you’ll need to maintain the annual minimum account spend (as outlined here) to maintain the matched Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier level. 

*Bonus Points promotion is valid for 90 days from the date your Virgin Australia Business Flyer application was approved. For your business to be eligible for the bonus Velocity Points promotion the approved Tier Hopped business must:

1. For Tier 2 members, spend a minimum of $2,000 on eligible travelled flights (excluding taxes and fees) within 90 days from the date your Virgin Australia Business Flyer application was approved to receive 20,000 bonus Velocity Points. 

2. For Tier 3 members, spend a minimum of $10,000 on eligible travelled flights (excluding taxes and fees) within 90 days from the date your Virgin Australia Business Flyer application was approved to receive 50,000 bonus Velocity Points.  

An eligible flight is the first one-way domestic or short haul international flight marketed and operated by Virgin Australia, booked through the Virgin Australia Business Flyer portal or via your nominated Travel Management Company, and ticketed during the Promotion Period in a fare class that normally accrues Points. Reward Seats are not eligible for this promotion. This promotion can only be earned once during the Promotion Period and is limited to the recipient of this email. Please allow up to 4 weeks after meeting all criteria for the Points to be allocated to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer account. 1 Velocity Gold Membership: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier 2 members receive one complimentary annual Velocity Gold Membership. Virgin Australia Business Flyer Tier 3 members receive two complimentary annual Velocity Gold Memberships. These complimentary memberships are for member employees only, as nominated by the Virgin Australia Business Flyer member.

2 A new Virgin Australia Business Flyer member is eligible to receive two three-month Velocity Pilot Gold Memberships if, within the first three months of becoming a Virgin Australia Business Flyer member, it books and completes at least $2,000 of travel. 3 Earning Points with Virgin Australia Business Flyer: Virgin Australia Business Flyer Members can earn up to 1,000,000 Points from Virgin Australia, airlines partners and Virgin Australia codeshare flights only, per annum, based on the rolling 12 month period from when the Member joins Virgin Australia Business Flyer. 4 Fare advantage 4% discount applies to Flex fares and 6% discount applies to Business Class fares.

5 Discounted Lounge Membership: Discount is compared to the usual annual fee of $399. Discounted Virgin Australia Lounge Memberships are available for Key Contact, Account Administrators, Travel Bookers and Travellers and are subject to the Virgin Australia Business Flyer Terms and Conditions. Use of the Lounge is subject to the Virgin Australia Lounge Terms and Conditions and Virgin Australia Lounge rules. Virgin Australia Lounge entry is subject to space availability.

10 Platinum and Gold members with a confirmed booking for a Virgin Australia marketed and operated domestic flight and who arrive at the airport in time for an earlier flight than their booked flight, can request that they and up to 3 accompanying guests on the same booking, be carried on an earlier flight.
